Article 15. State property classified as general property located within the premises of a third class airport may, notwithstanding the provisions of Article 22 (Gratis) of the State Property Law, be let free of charge to the regional administrative organization establishing and managing/operating the airport concerned.
(Transfer of Unused State Property)
Article 16. In the case of closure of an airport or alteration in the area of a second class airport or a third class airport, the State may, notwithstanding the provision of Article 28 (Transfer) of the State Property Law, transfer State property classified as general property (such property being a part of land, constructions, or any other objects which become unused property and which is located within the airport area concerned or within an area excluded from the airport area concerned) to the regional administrative organization which has shared the construction cost of the area as provided for by Article 6 paragraph 1 or paragraph 2; Article 8 paragraph 1; or Article 9 paragraph 1 (sharing of development costs for second class airports and third class airports) or as provided by Article 8 paragraph 4; or Article 9 paragraph 3 (subsidizing development costs of second class airports ad third class airports) to an extent not exceeding the amount contributed by the regional administrative organization.
(Hokkaido Exception)
Article 17. The State may, with regard to the cost of establishment and administration of second class airports and third class airports located in Hokkaido, as specified by Cabinet Order, assume a share of the cost which is greater than the rate prorated under the provisions of Article 6 paragraph 1; Article 8 paragraph 1; Article 9 paragraph 1; Article 10 paragraph 1; or Article 11 paragraph 1 (development cost sharing), or subsidize by more than the rate prorated under the provisions of Article 8 paragraph 4; Article 9 paragraph 3; or Article 11 paragraph 3 (development cost subsidization).
(Delegation to Cabinet Order)
Article 18. Any matters related to implementation of this Law, unless otherwise specified by the Law, shall be provided for by Cabinet Order.
